When it comes to bodybuilding is fun to hear sometimes. You may have different experiences with this, but I had the opportunity to so many comments really stupid mouth of different people to hear. Common misconception of average adult in the media is false that the bodybuilding and weight training is only about oiled-up freaks, huge ugly “animals” posing in a swimsuit.

Many people get disgusted or frightened out of sight of the great man (and women) and mad, thinking that they are very destructive to their own health and well-being. Why?

Do not you see people who know that the average adult can expect to gain about 1 pound of fat a year, aged 30 to 60 pounds and about half of muscle loss in the same period. This makes a total loss of 15 pounds of muscle and gain 30 pounds of fat! Not very good, no? You’ll have this experience in your life. Of course, sometimes comes with many other reactions.

But we will concentrate. Important thing to know about the age, changes in body composition, metabolic effects. By their size and nature (mass and mitochondrial content) of muscle fat use, the largest site we have.

This means that not only plays an important role in muscle from burning fat as fuel, but also maintains healthy blood profiles that prevent all cardiovascular diseases. And this is only part of the story, and I bet you want to hear the rest.

Proper training and nutritional approach to weight is probably the best hobby you can pamper your body in. There are so many scientific and medical in this case. Strength training preserves muscle mass and help build valuable loss of muscle control / process of fat accumulation. Even better news from a recent study has shown that strength training improves mitochondrial activity in muscle cells for energy production to increase. Who has more energy? We see all the stress of increasing numbers and low energy can not accept a condition, bad bad, many people, as usual.

I am over 17 years of weight training behind me and I almost never feels the lack of energy and strength. And no, I do not spend a fortune on supplements, but I spend about 5 hours per week in the gym.

Another thing is particularly interesting when you are approaching your fifties.

The mitochondria in cells to convert carbohydrates lipids and proteins we eat into usable forms of energy. Scientific studies have shown that muscle
among older adults (over 55) is super good for your overall health and well-being. We must always be regulated gene activities are conducted in our system, but it will be necessary after the age of 50. Natural increase muscle regulates the activity of genes related to mitochondrial function improved.

Training regularly with weights mitochondria of our cells to produce energy more efficiently the food we eat. It is simple mathematics.

In short, we correct the force more life, more energy, vitality and health. If this is not a good reason to start the practice gym, I do not know what it is.
